Preparation for Placement Workshops

Nurse Education Workshops‘Prep for Placement’ Workshops are designed to help nursing students with the culture shock that often occurs especially with the language of healthcare and understanding what happens in a typical shift. Students are challenged to think about what they need to do to care for a patient for a shift.

All day workshops will have an additional component where students will be assigned a medication to research in context with a patient case scenario, and as they present their findings discussion ensures they have taken the patient information into consideration.

Workshops will be delivered at your institution and comes with session plans identifying units of competency addressed, teacher and student materials.
